Vanessa Barzasi (BIOBRIGHT – Great Britain) and Bonney Magambo (HEMOFAB – France), the two female entrepreneurs winners of the latest Women Future Makers Award.

The evening was marked by a strong testimony ofSandra Rey (Forbes 30 Under 30, MIT Innovator) who recounted the closure of his first business. Far from being the story of failure, her journey from design student to CEO of a technology company that survived judicial liquidation is a great lesson in resilience. Following a rigorous selection process, the jury rewarded two exceptional projects:

  • Vanessa Barzasi with BIOBRIGHT (Great Britain):an innovative solution in the maritime industry. BIOBRIGHT creates autonomous environmental monitoring systems to control air and water quality in real time. The jury praised Vanessa’s scientific leadership and her ability to deploy a highly technical “biotech” solution for pollution-free ports and oceans.
  • «Favorite” – Bonney Magambo with HEMOFAB (France):this MedTech startup transforms dialysis care thanks to the protective sleeveFAV Protector Sleeve. This patient-focused innovation is designed to improve the daily lives and health of patients suffering from kidney failure.

The winners will receive a financial grant and will participate in the Empow’Her scholarship program, where they will benefit from masterclasses in personal development and support from experts in order to increase their impact.

A sustainable commitment in line with the brand’s commitment to responsibility, the event was organized with a minimal environmental footprint, trophies made from recycled materials, through partnerships with committed local suppliers.
