<p>He said this while interacting with Gen-Z youth and young entrepreneurs at the <a href=Gen-H startup summit, Yuva Udyami Chaupal, at Gurugram University on Friday.

“There are currently 12,500 startups in the State. He (Saini) called upon each startup to create one more startup so that a network of more than 25,000 startups can be established across the state. Gen-H Yuva Udyami Chaupal is an important platform taking this vision forward,” an official statement said.

He said that the future belongs to new technology, innovation and fresh ideas and urged youth to aspire to establish their own enterprises and create employment opportunities for others.

He said the government is making efforts to provide guidance, technical assistance, training and financial support to transform the innovative ideas into reality.

Talking about the summit, he said six ‘master classrooms’ were set up at the programme, where entrepreneurs provided youth with information on various aspects of establishing and scaling startups. Around 50 youths were trained in each Master Classroom, he added.

Banks provided information related to loans and financial assistance, while experts from the Skill University also provided the youth with training and guidance.

Saini, while flagging off the ‘Yuva Udyamita Yatra’, said that the initiative would not remain confined to Gurugram alone, as through this initiative, colleges, universities, ITIs, coaching institutes and other educational institutions across all districts of the state would be covered.

“The Gen-H Startup Summit witnessed a comprehensive display of the entrepreneurial potential of the State’s youth. More than 45,000 ideas have emerged so far through the State’s Ideathon, while around 400 young entrepreneurs participated in the summit,” added CM. PTI
