ARISE Homecoming, a talent initiative aimed at connecting globally educated Indian students and early-career professionals with career opportunities in India.
The programme is open to Indian students pursuing or recently completing their education at overseas universities, as well as professionals with up to two years of international work experience. Candidates will be considered across degrees, disciplines and institutions, with the bank focusing on skills, potential and role fit, according to a statement.
The initiative comes as the pool of Indians pursuing higher education overseas continues to expand. About 12.54 lakh Indian students were enrolled in overseas higher education institutions in 2025, providing a growing talent pool with international academic and professional exposure.
Through ARISE Homecoming, Axis Bank aims to provide this talent with opportunities to contribute to India’s next phase of economic and industry transformation.
Rajkamal Vempati, Group Head – Human Resources, Axis Bank, said, “Careers today are increasingly shaped by choice, purpose and the opportunity to create impact. Through ARISE Homecoming, we are creating a pathway for globally educated Indian talent to build fulfilling careers at Axis Bank. As banking and financial services continue to evolve, this talent can learn, lead and grow alongside the industry.”
The initiative is part of Axis Bank’s broader hiring approach, which extends beyond geography and traditional academic credentials to assess candidates based on their skills, potential and suitability for specific roles.
