Gaurav Singh appointed chief people & culture officer, Centricity!

Congratulations Gaurav Singh, for taking on the role of chief people and culture officer, Centricity WealthTech!

Singh moves to this Indian tech-enabled wealth-management startup after spending over six successful years with Global Payments.

Equipped with an MBA in Human Resources and an LLB in Company Law, Gaurav Singh is backed by over 15 years of experience. He began his career as an executive with Uniparts India, in May 2010. After working for over three and a half years in this role, he moved to International Tractors, as assistant manager, in 2013.

Singh’s next stop was Aksh Optifibre, where he served as deputy manager from 2015 to 2018. During this period he managed the corporate HR function and served as HR business partner for a product group. He also spearheaded HR automation initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. He implemented a group performance-management system resulting in 20 per cent improvement in employee

productivity. He also shouldered HR generalist responsibilities to support the overall HR operations among other responsibilities.

November of 2018 saw him playing manager at Times Internet.

It was in February of 2019 that he began his association with Global Payments. He joined as HRBP and was promoted to manager-HR and site head HR (Noida site) within two years. He was elevated to senior manager-HR in November 2022. By September 2023 he had reached the position of head HR, India Delivery Centre.

In his new assignment at Centricity, Gaurav Singh will leverage his comprehensive experience—across key HR domains including policy formulation, talent consulting and advisory, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, labour compliance, budgeting, and operations—to focus on driving long-term HR strategies and framework, and scaling talent acquisition to support Centricity WealthTech’s business growth and objectives.
