With this, job seekers will be able to access information such as company names, the number of vacancies, starting salaries, overtime provisions and facilities such as pick-up and drop-off services on a digital map. Employers will also be able to look for candidate profiles according to their requirements, making it easier to identify suitable talent in their vicinity.

UPSDM director Pulkit Khare said, “Blue DotsAI is designed to help young people identify employment opportunities suited to their qualifications and skills, while enabling employers to find candidates matching their workforce requirements.”

He added that the initiative goes beyond simply listing job vacancies by facilitating a closer match between candidates’ skills and industry requirements. Youth trained through Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), vocational courses and other skill development programmes will be able to explore suitable employment opportunities, while companies and industries can identify relevant candidates for their vacancies.

Officials said during its pilot phase in Ghaziabad, more than 25,000 jobs were made discoverable within a radius of 20–25 kilometres. After this experience, UPSDM decided to expand it across the state.

The platform will give priority to employment opportunities in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), manufacturing and retail. Key sectors will include apparel, food and beverages, along with technical occupations such as welding, electrical work and machine operation.

A key feature of ‘Blue DotsAI’ is its AI-powered voice bot, designed to make recruitment-related processes more accessible. Companies and industry associations will be able to communicate their hiring requirements verbally in Hindi, English and other regional languages, simplifying the process of registering vacancies on the platform.

The AI voice bot will also be able to contact candidates and inform them about job opportunities matching their profiles. With the candidate’s consent, it can assist in initiating the application process. “The initiative also envisages counselling, mock interviews and direct engagement with industry associations to help young people prepare for employment,” Khare said.
