, /PRNewswire/ — On International Peace Day, ISCTHbrought together people across 125 cities in over 30 countriesthrough a global movement of peace, solidarity and human connection – “The World Moves for #IAmPeace.”
Rooted in the powerful belief that peace begins within each individual, the campaign invites people everywhere to make a conscious personal commitment: “I Choose Peace.”From inner peace to world peace – from this inner choice emerges a wider possibility – communities that live with greater compassion, respect and understanding and a world connected by a shared aspiration for peace.
The movement draws inspiration from Supreme Spiritual Leader– Maitreya Dadashreeji, whose vision of human transformation places inner awakening at the heart of lasting global change. His message is simple yet profound: transformation of the world begins with transformation of the individual. The campaign translates this philosophy into collective action, enabling people to experience peace not merely as an ideal, but as a personal responsibility and a way of living.
Across continents, the movement is taking shape through Global Peace Walks, bringing people together in a visible expression of their commitment to peace; Global Human Chains, symbolising humanity’s interconnectedness and the strength that emerges when individuals stand together; and Peace Dialogues, creating spaces for meaningful conversations on harmony, coexistence and a more peaceful future.
At the heart of the campaign is a powerful focus on children and young people. Through creative activities, storytelling, reflection, art and dialogue, children are encouraged to discover their own role in building a culture of peace. The message is expressed simply: “Peace Begins with Me.” The participation of 125 cities across 30 countriesgives the movement a truly global expression – diverse cultures, languages and communities coming together without losing their individuality. Each city contributes its own voice, while sharing one universal aspiration.
“The World Moves for #IAmPeace”is ultimately a movement of people – demonstrating that global peace is not only a destination to be hoped for, but a journey that begins with each one of us.
ONE WORLD. ONE FAMILY. #IAMPEACE.
