/PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Today, Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) reported that June 2026 sales in the United States were 212,793 vehicles, representing an increase of 10.1 percent in volume and 5.7 percent in daily sales rate (DSR) compared to June 2025. Electric vehicle sales during the month amounted to 122,063, which represents an increase of 35.0 percent in volume and 29.6 percent in DSR, as well as representing 57.4 percent of the total sales volume.
Toyota Motor North America publishes its June and second quarter 2026 sales results in the United States
For the second quarter, TMNA reported sales of 673,971 vehicles, reflecting an increase of 1.1 percent in volume and 1.1 percent in DSR compared to the second quarter of 2025. Electric vehicle sales for the second quarter totaled 383,091, representing an increase of 19.5 percent in volume and 19.5 percent in DSR, representing the 56.8 percent of total sales volume.
The Toyota division recorded sales of 183,627 vehicles in June, representing an increase of 11.2 percent in volume and 6.8 percent in DSR. For the quarter, the Toyota division reported sales of 585,211 vehicles, an increase of 2.6 percent in volume and 2.6 percent in DSR.
In June, the Lexus division recorded sales of 29,166 vehicles, translating to a 3.9 percent increase in volume and a 0.3 percent decrease in DSR. For the quarter, the Lexus division reported sales of 88,760 vehicles, reflecting a 7.5 percent decrease in volume and a 7.5 percent decrease in DSR.

With our commitment to affordability and a wide range of vehicles on sale starting at $35,000, we are ideally placed to expand access to electrification while offering excellent value for money in all powertrains.

TMNA:
- Second quarter sales increase 1.1 percent
- Electric vehicle sales in the second quarter were 383,091, an increase of 19.5 percent

- Electric vehicle sales in the second quarter were 37,300, an increase of 6.5 percent
- June sales increase 3.9 percent
- Electric vehicle sales in June were 11,436, reflecting an increase of 11.7 percent
