Kathy Yang from Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) was named to the Most Powerful Women in Business 2026 list" of the magazine “Fortune" recorded

/PRNewswire/ — To recognize the female leaders shaping the global business world today and those poised to achieve even greater impact, Kathy Yang, chief campus operations officer and head of AI software at HonHai Technology Group (Foxconn) (TWSE:2317), has been named to Fortune magazine’s “Most Powerful Women in Business 2026” list.

Yang is the only female executive from Taiwan, ranking 19th in the top 100. She is among 16 new entrants and one of 50 women in Fortune Global 500 companies on this year’s list, which includes executives from 20 countries and regions working in 94 companies.

“Ensuring a competitive advantage is not only about being a technological leader, but also about cultivating talent. Yang joins an illustrious group this year, with the technology and finance industries dominating the list, with 27 and 26 women respectively. As AI continues its rapid rise, women are increasingly helping to shape its future, according to Fortune.

In nearly two decades at Foxconn, Yang – who joined the company last year MPW-Asia-Liste from Fortune – has taken on increasing responsibilities at the world’s largest electronics manufacturer and leading provider of technology solutions, from managing global logistics and trade compliance to… first female managerwho will serve as Foxconn’s rotating CEO in 2025.

The one compiled by Fortune editors MPW-2026-List is based on the size and financial health of the companies or income statements of the executives, as measured by the last 12 months and three years of financial data, as well as their influence, innovation, career history and efforts to improve the business.
